Gene McComas Original...Eugenia Frances Baker McComas born in San Francisco, (1886-1982) she worked as a journalist with San Francisco Examiner and Oakland Tribune, studied at the Clifornia School of Art and Crafts where she met her future husband, Francis McComas, married  in 1917 at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco.  They settled on the Monterey Peninsula,
Pebble Beach and had her first solo  show  at GUMP's  in 1924.
